TrackTown Tuesday Returns in 2018 with an Action-Packed First Show

The Oregon women’s track & field and cross country teams rewrote the collegiate history book in 2017 with their momentous triple crown and a third recipient of the Bowerman Award. Come join us in celebrating those remarkable achievements with Raevyn Rogers as well as a trio of current Ducks – Katie Rainsberger, Hannah Cunliffe, and Brooke Feldmeier – on January 9 at the Downtown Athletic Club for the first TrackTown Tuesday of 2018.

TrackTown USA President Vin Lananna will serve as host of TrackTown Tuesday, and will preview the exciting year ahead. Sasha Spencer Atwood, Director of External Affairs at TrackTown USA, will reprise her role as emcee.

The Duck women will not be the only stars under the spotlight – we will also be joined by Oregon Track Club Elite newcomer and former Oregon standout Luke Puskedra. Puskedra was an 11-time All-American at UO. He has completed 7 marathons as a professional and ran his 2:10:24 marathon PR in 2015.

Finally, we will be honoring the Lane Community College men’s cross country team, who claimed another Northwest Athletic Conference title this past fall. The LCC men had all five of their runners finish inside the top 20, including a 1-2 podium finish for their top competitors.
